    The Mancunium Consort

The Mancunium Consort are delighted to be bringing their Summer programme to the Ironstone Festival this September. Formed in January 2023 by Harry Mobbs and Joseph Taylor, the group hails from Manchester, seeking to widen the platform for young professionals in the North.

Described as “One of the rising stars of the Choral Music Scene” by world-renowned ensemble The Gesualdo Six, the group has enjoyed incredible early successes, performing in prestigious venues across the country, most recently in The Bridgewater Hall.

Join the group on Thursday 5th September at St Etheldreda's, Horley, Banbury, for an evening showcase of impressive and beautiful Choral Music through the ages, ranging from Tallis and Monteverdi to celebrated contemporary composers, including the group's first commissioned work by Bristol-based composer Richard Barnard.
